Queen's Park Two
Sky blue, forest green and lemon yellow reflections dance across a plane of water, leading the eye up to a lush background of trees and foliage against a baby blue sky. Delicately rendered pink, white and yellow flowers lean into the composition, adding balance and interest.
This painting was inspired by my local park where I was living in Loughborough. This series of works capture momentary encounters with nature. They elevate ordinary elements, drawing a closer focus to their existence, their form, and their beauty, encouraging viewers to take a closer look at the nature that surrounds them.
